Bovisa, from industrial area to research hub
Bovisa, in Municipio 9, takes its name from the old Cascina Bovisa farmstead. Until the second half of the 20th century it was an industrial area; today it has been reborn thanks to the Politecnico, with its schools of Architecture, Design and Engineering, and the Mario Negri Institute for Pharmacological Research.
